motorcycle phone charger

I used this motorcycle phone charger  on a trip to Arkansas, halfway through the journey I was hit with a heavy thunderstorm and rain, it kept charging my phone through out the route. And what's worse I left the lid open the whole night while raining. It stopped working for a while the next morning and started malfunctioning. But after driving few hundred miles it worked again like a charm. Very good motorcycle usb charger.
