TORO WOLF, the team leader of the Mercedes F1 Team, acknowledged that the tight competition between Lewis Hamilton and Nick Rosberg was the key to successful management of their relationship.
During their four seasons, the pair had won 54 Grand Prix victories, and Hamilton won the world title twice, Rosberg once, but despite several controversial moments between the two, the collision , Most of their competition is still within the control.
Before Nick Rosberg was stunned to announce his exit from Formula One, Motor Sport interviewed Wolfe, explaining how the team did it.
"Our biggest success is that after working with two top drivers for four years, we were able to bring the two together," Wolf said to the car campaign. "Historically, when two superstars were put together, they ended in failure a year or two later."
"We've had tough moments that are difficult to control, but in essence, we can bring the two together."
"It is important to recognize the very competitive relationship between the two men, and we look at it from the perspective of the team, and we do not need transitional controls, and they understand the tremendous effort behind the scenes."
Mercedes also learned from the mistakes while managing Hamilton and Rosberg to make sure they could continue. Wolf emphasizes transparency is also the key to good operation of the combination.
"You only need to learn from your mistakes, there are other people's mistakes," Wolf said.
"We spend a lot of time talking about transparency, and there is no secret agenda or something like that, and everything is spread out on the table and discussed together."
Wolf added that he could not explain the performance of the two drivers ups and downs.
"I can not figure it out, I've stopped trying to figure it out," Wolfe told the motorist when asked if he knew the reason for the ups and downs between Hamilton and Rosberg.
"One of them did a great job over the weekend, and the other was not because the people sitting in the car were people - even if they were outstanding.
"They have good times and bad times, and the track may not be right for them, and that's what sets us up to see what they do."
"There is no law, there is a stage Nick won eight games, for some time Lewis won a streak, and then we repeat this process.
"Let 's try not to analyze it, because there is no scientific explanation.
